How do I join a Tickrate CS2 server?

Open Counter-Strike 2, press ~ to open the console, then type connect 138.201.131.228:27015 for Retakes #1 (or use the Join button on tkrate.com). You can also click steam://connect links from the site.

Are Tickrate CS2 servers free?

Yes. All Tickrate Counter-Strike 2 servers — ranked retakes, bhop, and surf — are free to join. No VIP paywall is required to play.

Where are the servers hosted?

Tickrate hosts in the EU (Germany / Hetzner region) for low ping across Europe, Turkey, and nearby regions. Public IP: 138.201.131.228.

Do you have ranked CS2 retake servers?

Yes. Retakes #1 and Retakes #2 run ranked play with points, ranks, and a public leaderboard at tkrate.com/leaderboard.

What is CS2 retake mode?

Retakes is an after-plant scenario: Terrorists start holding a planted bombsite while Counter-Terrorists retake. Every round trains site executes, utility, and clutch timings without a full buy round.

How do I change weapons on retakes?

Type !guns in chat (or use the in-game menu) to open the weapon selection menu each round on Tickrate retake servers.
